Sai received his Bachelor of Technology degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His doctoral dissertation explored visual pattern extraction and online learning in dynamic environments. As a post-doctoral fellow at Boston University, Sai worked with a team developing nanoscale neurons for mechatronic perception and memory.
